Sign-up for Membership

Joining NACIO is easy – just use the website link or contact Tom Goodman at tgoodman@naco.org. Membership in NACIO provides you with access to PIOs across the country through the use of our listserv. We also sponsor seminars and other professional opportunities throughout the year.

While we regularly partner with NACo, we’re stepping out on our own with a Winter Workshop in Texas this year. Scheduled for early December, this event was planned with the County PIO in mind. Click here for more information.

So how much is this membership going to cost you? The rates below are reasonable, whether you are a county staffer or a corporate member.

Membership Fees:

County Staff Member (Individual) $75
($50 for each additional staff member)

State Association Staff Member $100
($50 for each additional staff member)

Non-County Governments $175
(School Boards, Municipalities, etc.)

Corporate Membership $250

Please work with all those within your state association interested in NACIO membership to insure proper dues payments are made. 

Please note that there will be no refunds granted

• Access to NACIO's Online Membership Directory, and a Listing in the Online Directory
• A subscription to The Art of Communication, NACIO's newsletter, published twice per year 
• A membership certificate, signed and dated each year
• Access to NACIO's ListServ
