NACIO 2nd VP Nominations Due Next Friday, May 26As PIOs, we serve as leaders within our counties, keeping citizens informed of the good, the important, the mundane, and most of all during times of crisis. Are you ready to apply those amazing skills on the National level? The office of 2nd Vice President for the National Association of County Information Officers (NACIO) is now accepting nominations. To become a candidate, simply email current NACIO President, Cragin Mosteller at cmosteller@flcounties.com to express your interest and provide a headshot along with short paragraph of your qualifications by May 26. The head shot and paragraph will be sent out to NACIO members to vote on our next 2nd Vice President. NACIO’s 2nd Vice President will serve a two year term starting in July 2023 through July 2025. Following their term as 2nd Vice President they will serve two year terms of 1st Vice President and then President of NACIO. For those of you considering putting your hat in the ring, please feel free to call Cragin if you have any questions regarding the time commitment and responsibilities. NACIO leadership is an amazing and talented group of communications professionals committed to advancing not only the communications profession but the specialization of serving local county government. Nominations are due May 26. Ballots will be emailed to NACIO members on June 5 with all ballots due by June 9. Results will be announced shortly thereafter and the 2nd Vice President will be sworn in at the NACIO Annual Business Meeting in Austin, Texas as a part of the NACo Annual Conference. Upcoming Events
